The Newlywed Cookbook

       My Great Aunt Janie was the inspiration for this gift idea. When my little sister graduated from high school, she compiled favorite recipes from everyone in the family and had a cookbook made for her. A couple of summers ago I had two friends who were getting married. I decided to make them a cookbook of mine and my husbands favorite meals...a "tested and approved" recipe book for Newlyweds that were super easy and delicious!

       The recipe part was easy...I just typed away on a word document and hit print. The decorating part was also easy...and fun! I had a bunch of the cream and black style card stock, purchased the washi tape, mint colored paper and found a vintage clip art photo on google.        Note: I forgot the picture of the final product...I took the books to FedEx for a clear front and back cover and for spiral binding.
